How to Fix ‘Destination Folder Already Exists’ Error When Installing Plugins: A Step-by-Step Guide?

This error means your old plugin is not deleted correctly and plugin folder already exist and WordPress can’t install new plugin.

Solution:

1. Connect to your FTP
2. Go to wp-content > plugins
3. Find plugin folder which showing error
4. Delete it then go back to admin area and try to install plugin
